The house parents of New Life Children's Home, Chiang Dao, Thailand, are Montree and Supah Jonnee. They are from the Lahu tribe in Northern Thailand. They speak both Thai, Lahu and a little English. Although they are documented Thai citizens they face many levels of discrimination in Thailand.
Moving Children from Relief to Development
WHAT WE DO
We provide resources for existing children’s homes and orphanages.
OUR VISION
Developing self-sustaining orphanages.
HOW CAN I HELP? 94% Donor Efficiency
Seeking donors to get involved on the front line of defending children at risk.
Our primary focus is in northern Thailand, working with children's homes that are comprised of non-Thai ethnic displaced people groups. These children are from broken families and communities that are oppressed and dysfunctional. These social environments, wherever they exist, are the birthplace of Children at Risk.
Our mission is to facilitate orphanage directors to envision and provide childcare that nurtures healthy young people and urges them to become socially responsible adults embracing family values and sustainable community.
